Darvina is FC leader of The Red Chocobo and owner of The Red Chocobo Lounge. She is an aetherologist by trade and as a phoenix intimately attuned to it's flow. She is a rare bird among her phoenix ancestors and kin in that not only it she has white plumage in her true form and also learned how to convert positive dynamis into aether and visa versa (this ability is can only be done in her true white phoenix form which she VERY RARELY does). ((OOC Note: I have been playing Darvina's char since 2002 in MSN chatrooms. She has always been a white phoenix. As phoenix she has always attuned and able to use life force energies aka aether. Personal History

Hailing from a different star (technically a moon) Darvina is decended from the First Phoenix and like Hades, Darvina has Soul Sight and is sensitive to Aether and the Underworld (Lifesteam). Everyone thought this sensitivity would make her magical prodigy especially concerning"white" magic. However she showed very little magical aptitude and when she did it seemed her "black" magic was stronger (so strong she could halt someone's aether but this was always in a blind rage). When she was 13 she ran away and returned 3yrs later an accomplished and experienced mage (in various forms). During the 3yrs she was gone she learn time and dimensional magics and traveled throughout the universe (including Etheirys in the time of Ancients) and various dimensions. She met soulmate at 9yrs old and married him when she was 20. They were married for only 3yrs in their time line but Darvina used time and dimensional magics to where they actually together for 7yrs. They returned home when Darvina became pregnant with their daughter. Darvina's world was ripped apart on the eve their daughter was born. Weakening from childbirth Darvina became vulnerable was attacked but at the last minute her soulmate stepped in front of the blade then died in her arms. However so strong was the bond between them death could not separate them. Darvina sacrificed her chance at immortality and longevity in order to revive him for 7yrs every 300yrs. It was during one of these times Darvina used forbidden magic to conceive their son. Years passed then at the precipice of an Universal Calamity she restored her soulmate and together they pushed back the darkness. Having exhausted most of their aether they went into stasis (along with their children, their spouses and granddaughter) to recover. Centuries went by and they slept. A disturbance in the universe's flow awakened her. Upon awakening she saw her soulmate's soul was no longer in the Lifesteam. Worried about disappearance of her beloved's soul coupled with the disturbance in the aether, Darvina set forth on a journey to the Source and the Shards in order to find him
